At Murdochs our approach is to empower you to, if possible,
negotiate workable solutions to the issues that arise
between you and your former partner in relation to both
child related and financial issues.
Our philosophy in relation to disputes concerning children
is that our role is to advise you as to the best way to
advance the interests of your children. Once we have given
you the knowledge, we encourage our clients to make child
related disputes a “lawyer free” zone and utilise the skills
of appropriate experts such as psychologists and counsellors
to reach solutions through therapy and counselling.
In property and financial disputes our first approach is
always to work towards practical negotiated solutions
utilising negotiation and mediation with other similar
minded professionals such as lawyers, accountants and
financial planners. At Murdochs we will work hand in hand
with your financial advisors to achieve practical tax
effective solutions to financial problems.
However, we are mindful that clients want issues resolved in
a timely manner and if necessary we will take decisive
direct action by way of litigation to ensure that our
clients receive their appropriate entitlements.
